Syzygium jambos (L.) Alston

Syzygium jambos is produced in Taiwan, China, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other provinces and regions of China. It is common in South China and also distributed in Indochina Peninsula, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries and regions. Syzygium jambos can be cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions, with an average annual temperature of around 20 ℃ for flowering and fruiting, but higher temperatures are preferred. Syzygium jambos prefers light, high temperature, and humid climate; Strong wind resistance, prefers water and humidity, slightly cold resistant, and no frost damage has occurred at -17 ℃. The soil requirements are not strict, the adaptability is strong, and it can grow on dry and barren shallow sandy soil, but moist and fertile soil is preferred. The tree crown is wide, the leaves are dark green, and during the flowering period, there are green leaves and white flowers. Syzygium jambos (L.) Alston is a tree plant in the Primulaceae family, belonging to the Primula genus.
