The flowering period is from April to May, and the fruiting period is from September to December.

Pomelo is native to China, India, Malaysia and other places, and is widely planted in Southeast Asian countries. It is mainly distributed in the areas south of the Yangtze River in China, and is limited to Xinyang and Nanyang in Henan Province to the north. It is often cultivated in hilly or low mountain areas, prefers warm and humid climates, prefers fertilizers, is not tolerant to drought or waterlogging, and requires deep and fertile soil layers.
